In my role as Director at Sirvify, I have led with conviction around one central belief: African businesses deserve world-class data and cloud infrastructure to compete globally. That belief drives how I show up daily—with energy, urgency, and clarity of purpose.

When we set a strategic goal to reach silver partner status with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I did not rely solely on title or authority. I aligned the sales, technical, and customer success teams around a shared revenue target, broke it into weekly performance metrics, and personally coached SDRs and AEs to improve conversion rates. Even during periods of financial pressure and capacity constraints, I reinforced disciplined execution—clear KPIs, structured outbound motions, and measurable pipeline health.

Beyond internal leadership, I have catalysed engagement with clients and partners by reframing conversations from product features to business outcomes. For example, when working with a logistics software company transitioning from informal systems to cloud infrastructure, I helped align stakeholders around a scalable hybrid model that improved security and operational control. That required persistence, strategic messaging, and the confidence to challenge existing assumptions.

I consciously manage my communication to be both ambitious and grounded—setting high expectations while equipping teams with systems to win. I prioritise what moves revenue, cut distractions, and ensure that commitments are honoured. My impact is visible not only in revenue growth, but in the confidence and capability of the teams I help build and lead.

About Rising Star

The Rising Star Programme, operated by BlackBark Productions, has been established for the purposes of recognising, celebrating and connecting young talented people who have a capacity for achievement and success and who contribute in an inspirational manner to the future of our nation. The qualities that elevate Rising Stars to the top go beyond performance and technical excellence. Rising Stars are polished, brilliant individuals with tremendous promise and great talent who excel for reasons that go far beyond their technical abilities alone.

Talented people make things happen, are highly committed to achieving goals, innovate very rapidly, and create a great deal of value (for companies and/or themselves) when their talent is spotted and harnessed.

The Programme aims to be a significant and sustainable vehicle through which organisations, our country and our continent can identify and nurture these “organisational and national assets” who are set to play a key role in shaping the future of our country and our continent.
