| I believe that before we are a business, we are humans. To be a successful human extends far beyond profit margins, and that treating people as independent humans rather than machine cogs benefits every business, allowing people to make choices, and take responsibility for and pride in those choices. The majority of business tends to consist of navigating humans and their emotions, and I think this social aspect can be the most challenging but essential part of business. Finding a balance between the emotional and the objective is a vital skill, which I continue to hone. |
